AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Leander Police Department is asking residents to avoid an intersection following a “major crash” Friday evening, police shared on social media around 9:30 p.m.
Police said the crash happened at the intersection of County Road 290 and Hero Way West. Officials added Hero Way will be closed “for an extended amount of time” following the crash.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area and find alternative routes, if possible.
