A man suspected of stealing a bright blue Chevy Camaro led Los Angeles police officers on a chase across the city on Thursday afternoon.

Authorities say the chase began in Gardena, where the suspect rammed into officers while attempting to flee. The chase traversed the 110 Freeway and surface streets.

Sky5 was overhead as the driver became stuck in gridlock at times, sped into oncoming traffic, and collided with other vehicles at low speeds.
