A Chicago police officer and another person have been shot Thursday afternoon in Englewood.
The attack happened near the 5600 block of South Sheilds Avenue, according to Chicago fire department spokesman Larry Langford.
Conditions and hospitals were not available immediately, according to Langford who said the officer was taken to a hospital by other officers.
