There is no immediate price impact from the port strike, which is in its third day. However, Goldman Sachs says if the strike lasts more than a week, it expects the stoppage to affect retailers and factories that sell clothing, furniture and home appliances. Wells Fargo predicts if the strike continues, shoppers could see price increases, shortages and inflation for holiday shopping.
