A male victim was fatally wounded Tuesday evening on the Northside in the Uptown neighborhood, Chicago police said.
The victim, whose exact age has not been confirmed, was found wounded shortly after 7:30 p.m. in the 900 block of West Eastwood Avenue. Police said someone fired shots, striking the victim to the leg. He was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center where he later was pronounced dead.
No one was in custody for the fatal shooting and detectives were investigating.
