Chicago police investigating deadly shooting in Uptown

CHICAGO – One person has died after being shot in Uptown Tuesday night.

Chicago police said the shooting happened just after 7:30 p.m. in the 900 block of W. Eastwood Avenue.

According to investigators, a male victim of unconfirmed age was shot in the leg by an unknown suspect. The victim was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital where he later died.

No arrests have been made and Area Three Detectives are investigating.
