San Jose Sharks’ Macklin Celebrini leaves game vs. Utah Hockey Club

US

SAN JOSE – San Jose Sharks rookie center Macklin Celebrini was forced out of Tuesday’s game against the Utah Hockey Club at SAP Center with what was described as a lower-body injury.

Celebrini might have been shaken up in the second period after he appeared to lose aafter a partial breakaway and slid hard into the end boards.

Celebrini remained on the Sharks bench briefly before he went to the dressing room, presumably for further evaluation.
