Teen, man shot in South Shore

Two people were wounded in a shooting in South Shore on Monday afternoon, Chicago police said.

The victims, 17 and 20, were in the 7500 block of South Dorchester Avenue about 5:37 p.m. when a male exited a vehicle and shot them, police said. The 20-year-old was struck multiple times and was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition.

The 17-year-old boy was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital in fair condition with a graze wound to his leg, police said.

No one is in custody.
