Man’s body found weighed down by stones in Hudson River off NYC park

A man’s body was found weighed down with stones in the water just off Riverside Park on Monday morning, cops and sources said.

The corpse of the unidentified man – believed to be between his mid-30s to 40s – was discovered in the Hudson River at West 79th Street and Riverside Drive around 7:15 a.m., authorities said.

He was wearing clothing. It is unclear whether he’d suffered any bodily trauma.

Investigators are eyeing the case as suspicious, cops said.

The city Medical Examiner’s Office will officially determine the man’s cause of death.
