Two men shot, one killed, outside Bronx apartment building

Two men were shot, one fatally, outside a Bronx apartment building early Sunday, police said.

A 33-year-old man was shot in the arm and chest and a 36-year-old man was blasted in the arm and wrist on Morris Ave. near Kingsbridge Road about 1 a.m., cops said.

Medics rushed both victims to St. Barnabas Hospital, where the younger man died. His name was not immediately released.

The surviving victim was in stable condition Sunday morning, cops said.

Police have made no arrests.

The shooting marks the ninth homicide so far this year in the Bronx’s 52nd Precinct, which saw nine killings in all of 2023, NYPD statistics show.
