How to help victims of Hurricane Helene

US

(NEXSTAR) – As projected, Hurricane Helene unleashed punishing winds and a surge of floodwaters on the Florida Gulf Coast this week. On Friday, emergency crews were working to reach remote communities and restore power for more than 4 million Americans.

The first few days of emergency response will be critical to saving lives and restoring essential community services. And many across the country are wondering how they can help.

To assist in the response to Helene, our parent company, Nexstar Media, is partnering with The American Red Cross to help with relief efforts. Donations to the Red Cross are critical for relief efforts from this storm and future disasters.

People looking to donate to the American Red Cross as they assist Floridians affected by Hurricane Helene can do so by clicking here.

Donations can be made by mail or by phone. Visit Nexstar’s donations page at RedCross.org to learn more about contributing.
