CHICAGO — A cloudy and windy day is ahead as the remnants of what was once Hurricane Helene bring showers to Chicagoland.
Several scattered showers are possible, especially from the city and points south.
The center of circulation from what is left of the hurricane is spinning down towards areas in southern Indiana and is expected to hang around the region for most of the weekend.

Extended outlook: Warmer and partly sunny skies with a slight chance of a few early morning showers on Monday with highs in the upper 70s. More sunshine for the rest of the week as temps stay for Tue/Wed in the mid to low 70s. We’ll warm up with more sunshine by Thu/Fri/Sat with temps climbing up towards the upper 70s and a couple spots will get into the low 80s.
