Police, family seek help searching for at-risk Los Angeles man

Police and family members are asking the community to help search for Richard Vasquez, 39, of Los Angeles County.

The county sheriff’s department reports Vasquez was last seen on Thursday, Sept. 26, at 4 p.m. on the 5300 block of Dewar Street in the unincorporated area of East Los Angeles.

Vasquez is considered at-risk due to conditions that require medication. Authorities say his family is worried for his well-being.

The 39-year-old also might be headed toward the Skid Row area.

Authorities describe Vasquez as a Hispanic man who stands 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds. 

He reportedly has black hair and brown eyes, a goatee, a tattoo of “76” on his neck and a Virgin Mary tattoo on his right hand. 

Officials say he was last seen wearing a white shirt and grey pants.
