Jack in the Box is accusing Wendy’s of copying an old promotion.
Wendy’s is currently running a promotion poking fun at McDonald’s seemingly never-ending supply of broken ice cream machines. The company is offering customers a $1 small Frosty until Sept. 30 for those who want a reliable sweet treat.
Jack in the Box, which ran a similar promotion in 2022, called out Wendy’s on X, formerly known as Twitter, by sharing a screenshot of their old promotion with the caption “@Wendys, look familiar?”
This isn’t the first time fast-food companies have poked fun at their rivals.
Earlier this year, Burger King rolled out a Whopper deal after Wendy’s received backlash for plans to introduce a “dynamic pricing model” at restaurants.
