Lady Gaga’s Dad Endorses Trump On Fox, And You Won’t Believe How He Describes Him

Joe Germanotta is going gaga for Donald Trump in the 2024 election.

The New York City restaurateur, who is the father of pop star Lady Gaga, appeared on Fox News Thursday to endorse the Republican nominee. (Watch the video below.)

Germanotta said Trump, a serial fabulist who inspired a coup attempt in 2021, is “pure,” in contrast to Democratic nominee Kamala Harris.

He said the former president and the current vice president are “vastly different people.”

“One of them is pure, you know? And he’s a patriot,” Germanotta said on the “Fox & Friends” morning show. “And the other is just gonna say whatever she needs to say to get elected.”

Germanotta conceded that Trump is “abrasive,” but said he agrees with the Republican’s policies. He also suggested that the Biden administration is responsible for people coming to his restaurant less frequently.

In 2020, Germanotta endorsed Trump on the platform then known as Twitter, despite Trump having called his famous daughter “not too good.”

As for the apparent leanings of the “Joker: Folie à Deux” star, she was one of many celebs who “liked” Taylor Swift’s high-profile endorsement of Harris on Instagram. Gaga also sang the national anthem at President Joe Biden’s inauguration in 2021 and dubbed Harris “Queen Kamala” when she and Biden defeated Trump and his running mate Mike Pence.

Looks like it’ll be another election cycle of awkward family dinners for the Germanotta clan.
