CPS CEO Pedro Martinez addresses district's new 5-year plan, will be submitted for vote by Board of Education

Chicago Public Schools CEO Pedro Martinez will submit the district’s Five-Year Strategic Plan for vote by the Chicago Board of Education at a special meeting Wednesday.

The five-year blueprint looks at how CPS will make decisions moving forward, including a commitment to strengthening neighborhood options from pre-school through high school.

Martinez joined Dan Ponce and Lauren Jiggetts on Wednesday’s WGN Morning News to discuss the 5-year plan, called Together we Rise, and more.
