Popeyes joins growing list of fast food companies offering value meals with new $5 deal

US

Popeyes is the latest fast-food chain to offer a value meal in hopes of attracting more customers to dine out as inflation continues to impact their wallets.

The value meal offer includes three pieces of the chain’s signature bone-in chicken for just $5. The deal will be available at participating locations nationwide, through the Popeyes app and online.

“As consumers look for more ways to enjoy their favorite meals without breaking the bank, Popeyes is excited to join this conversation centered around guest satisfaction,” a blog post from the company said.

Popeyes is the latest company to offer a value meal in recent months.

For example, Carl’s Jr. launched a new value menu in August, McDonald’s extended its $5 meal deal, and Taco Bell revamped its Cravings Value Menu to include 10 menu items for $3 or less.
