Man wounded in Ashburn shooting; suspect in custody

A man was wounded and another in custody after a shooting in Ashburn on Monday afternoon, Chicago police said.

The man, 50, was shot in the chest in the 3000 block of West 77th Street about 5:04 p.m. He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in critical condition, police said. The alleged shooter, a 44-year-old man, was arrested and a weapon was recovered at the scene.
