The Supreme Court outlawed affirmative action for college admissions in 2023, but it did not include military academies. Now, a federal court case in Maryland could change the face of the U.S. military. The plaintiffs who won the Supreme Court case last year have sued the service academies, saying any consideration of race is unconstitutional.
