On a Bears Sunday, WGN Radio’s Kevin Powell would normally join the WGN Weekend Morning News to discuss the big game.
But he wasn’t there this Sunday, and for a good reason!
Kevin and his wife, Bridget, welcomed their son into the world last week.
Jack Thomas Powell was born this past Thursday, weighing 8 pounds, 3 ounces — maybe a future Bear? He came a little earlier than they were expecting, but mom and baby are doing well.

Now, will the Bears remain undefeated in Baby Jack’s lifetime at a cool 1-0? We’ll find out tonight!
