One arrested after truck drives onto CU Boulder’s Folsom Field

A driver suspected in a hit-and-run crash drove onto Folsom Field at the University of Colorado Boulder on Thursday night, according to Boulder police.

CU Boulder police responded to the stadium around 7 p.m. after a man drove his vehicle onto the field, campus officials said in an emergency alert.

People began posting photos on social media of a black pickup truck parked near the 40-yard line and a shirtless man standing nearby.

The man is suspected of fleeing the scene of a crash near Foothills Parkway and Arapahoe, according to the Boulder Police Department. There is no threat to the public.
