A fire is burning two homes, threatening a third and spreading to trees in a Highlands Ranch neighborhood, according to South Metro Fire Rescue officials.

The two-alarm house fire is burning in the 10200 block of  Woodrose Lane in Douglas County, South Metro officials said in a post on X. Nearby residents are evacuating.
