The Grammy-nominated Lincoln Trio is set to perform at the Los Gatos High School theater on Sept. 22.

The trio will play well-known chamber and contemporary works in a 2:30 p.m. concert. Tickets are $5-$35 at the door, and season tickets are available For $15-$165 on the Los Gatos Concert Association’s website at lgcca.org.

Banned Books Week

The Los Gatos Library will be recognizing Banned Books Week with a series of events from Sept. 22-28. The library will provide patrons with access to books that have been banned elsewhere and give them a chance to send postcards to their elected representatives to express their opinions on such bans. There will also be an exhibit showing  what the library’s teen room would look like without censored books.

No Nov. 5 council meeting

The Los Gatos Town Council cancelled its meeting that was on track to take place on Election Day Nov. 5. Staff recommended that council members cancel the meeting to encourage the public’s participation in the election process, according to a staff report.
