This year, in July, 4,427 single-family homes were sold in state, which reflects an 8.2% increase over July 2023’s total.
Looking to purchase a single-family home? You may have noticed that prices have gone up, but so has the demand.
In July 2024, the median price for a single-family home stood at $650,000, which is a 6.6 percent year-over-year jump, according to a report The Warren Group, a real estate data analytics firm, published on Aug. 20.
That did not stop people from home shopping. In July, 4,427 single-family homes were sold in Massachusetts, which is a 8.2 percent year-over-year increase.
“Unfortunately, the lack of inventory will continue to be the biggest factor driving prices for the foreseeable future,” said Cassidy Norton, media relations director of The Warren Group.
