Donald is going ‘insane’ as Harris rises in the polls

Fred Trump III, the nephew of Donald Trump, said the pugnacious Republican is going “absolutely insane” as Vice President Kamala Harris continues to rise in the polls.

Fred, who has openly endorsed the VP for president, told People magazine on Tuesday that his uncle will continue to lash out as he gets more upset.

“It’s ‘win at all costs’ and he doesn’t care who gets hurt in the wake of what he’s trying to get accomplished, which is to benefit himself,” Fred said.

Ahead of the first presidential debate between Harris and Trump, the Republican nominee’s nephew said it seemed like the Trump campaign was still scrambling to recover from President Biden’s surprise decision to drop out of the race, paving the way for Harris.

“How they didn’t anticipate that Harris could become the nominee?” he asked rhetorically. “I just don’t understand how they didn’t have something, a plan B, ready.”

Ever since, Harris has ridden a wave of enthusiasm to tie or overtake Trump in a number of polls in battleground states.

“It’s driving him nuts. … It’s driving him absolutely insane,” Fred said, adding that things are “going to get nasty” for anyone who tries to get in his uncle’s way. “All bets are off now, he is going to go nuts on people.”

This is not the first time the younger Trump has spoken out about his uncle. In a memoir released earlier this summer, he painted Donald Trump in an unsavory light, particularly when recounting an alleged racist tirade after his uncle’s Cadillac was vandalized in Queens.

In an interview with ABC News in late July, Fred Trump referred to Donald as “atomic crazy” while detailing some of the “really horrific things” he’s done to Fred himself and his family.

Fred’s sister, author Mary Trump, has also penned a memoir describing their uncle as a dishonest man raised by an abusive father.
