Man wounded in West Englewood shooting

A man was wounded in a shooting Monday afternoon in West Englewood, Chicago police said.

The man, 19, was on the sidewalk in the 5700 block of South Racine Avenue about 3:50 p.m. when a vehicle pulled up and someone inside shot at him, police said. The man was hit in the right thigh and taken to University of Chicago Medical Center in serious condition.

No one is in custody.
