It’s a “Lipstick Jungle” out there.
Brooke Shields’ daughter Grier Henchy walked in her first runway show at New York Fashion Week on Sunday, making her debut as a model.
The 18 year old turned heads at the Tommy Hilfiger show, which included a performance by Wu-Tang clan aboard Colin Jost and Pete Davidson’s own Staten Island Ferry.
Henchy, who left her mom a blubbering mess when she began her freshman year of college at Wake Forest University last month, wore a sleeveless black dress with a belt and dramatic pockets.
Shields’ youngest daughter, whom she shares with her husband Chris Henchy, had her red hair styled straight down and added a pink lip for her glam.
She also modeled a silver statement necklace along with a pair of black-and-white mules.
Shields, 59, was in attendance at the show and even posed alongside Hilfiger, 73, after the event.
The mom of two took to Instagram the next day to celebrate her daughter’s moment by sharing a video of her catwalk with her followers.
“So proud of you @grierhhenchy @tommyhilfiger #tommyhilfiger #NYFW2024 @nyfw,” she captioned the sweet clip.
Soon after the “Mother of the Bride” actress shared the video, many of her 2 million followers took to the comments to react.
“So beautiful just like you supermodel daughter and mom,” one admirer penned, while another added, “Go Grier Go!!!!”
Others couldn’t help but notice how much the teenager resembled Shields.
“Like mother, like daughter,” a third fan wrote, while another chimed in with, “Wait, that wasn’t you walking the runway? I did a double take. Beauty is truly in your genes.”
Shields shares daughters Rowan, 21, and Grier, with her husband of 23 years and the trio of women have a close-knit bond. The “Pretty Baby” actress has a matching ladybug tattoo with Rowan while she and Grier inked matching high-heeled shoe designs, tying together their mutual love of fashion.
Grier has certainly shown her love for clothes, often dipping into her mom’s closet and wearing her vintage gowns for milestone events — including, most recently, Shields’ 1997 wedding dress, which Grier reworked for her high school graduation.
It seems that Grier has finally, literally, followed in her mom’s model footsteps.
