The day you’ve been waiting, and waiting, and waiting for is almost here: On September 1, we learned that Casa Bonita will start taking reservations for slots in October at 3 p.m. on September 16. After more than a year of requiring would-be diners to sign up on an email list and then wait to be invited to make a reservation and pay for it in advance, the pink eatertainment palace will truly be open to the public starting October 1 — but with so many still waiting to get in to see the fifty-year-old icon renovated by South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker, which has been in a very soft opening since late May 2023, getting a reservation when you want it could still be tough (in the meantime, you can see the Casa Bonita documentary at the Alamo Draft House!)…
