The first NFL Sunday is upon us.

The slate is chock-full of intriguing matchups with eight 1 p.m. games, four 4 p.m. games and a “Sunday Night Football” tilt which features Matt Stafford’s return to Detroit.

Not to be overlooked is Tom Brady’s return to football today — in the Fox broadcasting booth. The surefire Hall-of-Fame QB will embark on his new career path at 4:25 p.m. when the Cowboys visit the Browns.

Week 1 went off with a bang after the Chiefs defeated the Ravens on Thursday night and Saquon Barkley and the Eagles beat the Packers in the NFL’s debut Brazil game.
