Driver of SUV loses control and veers into building overnight in East Chatham neighborhood – Chicago Tribune

A 39-year-old man lost control of his SUV and struck a building in the East Chatham neighborhood overnight on the South Side, Chicago police said.

About 112:15 a.m., the man was headed west in a SUV in the 200 block of East 79th Street and came to rest after striking a building, police said. He suffered minor injuries and was taken to UChicago Medicine in fair condition.

No citations were pending.
