El Paso County Sheriff deputies were at the scene of a police shooting Friday morning southeast of Colorado Springs in the Security-Widefield area, according to an agency bulletin posted on the social media site X.
The sheriff department’s public information officer could not be reached.
The sheriff’s deputies are responding to an “officer-involved shooting” near Fantasia and Fencer Road, agency officials said.
