HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — The execution of a search warrant relating to a missing person’s case has been linked back to the disappearance of 40-year-old Robert Bond, according to police.

On Thursday, the Houston Police Department shared that homicide investigators were serving the warrant at a home in the 100 block of Safe Road, in a neighborhood near W. Loop, after a special assignments call at about 6:45 a.m.

Earlier in the day, police would not release what case the warrant was tied to, but by evening, it was confirmed that it was linked to Bond’s case.

According to a post, Bond has been missing since June 16, 2024. He was last reportedly seen leaving the 100 block of Sage Road.

In the latest update, police said they did not have a body, so it’s still unclear what led them to the scene.
