NASCAR Reveals Three New Shows Which Are Set To Launch Imminently

US

NASCAR is set to debut three new shows, aligning perfectly with the start of the NASCAR playoffs this week.

These new shows include two video podcasts accessible via YouTube and other platforms, along with a headline show that’s set to air on truTV and Max.

‘NASCAR Inside the Playoffs’ will serve as the cornerstone of the new shows, airing Thursdays from 7-8 p.m. ET on truTV and Max beginning September 5. Hosted by Shannon Spake, known for her previous roles on Fox Sports and NASCAR Race Hub, and Steve Letarte, celebrated NBC race analyst, the show aims to dissect the postseason action with unfiltered commentary.

It promises a blend of breaking news and analysis, featuring contributions from rising media talent, Dylan “Mamba” Smith, and NASCAR reporter Jordan Bianchi. The show will also include appearances from a rotating cast of current and past drivers, with two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch slated to appear in the first two episodes.

‘NASCAR Daily’ offers a swift and engaging take on the day’s hottest topics. This podcast will air Monday through Friday at 10 a.m. ET on YouTube and various podcast platforms, starting September 9.

Spake will guide viewers through brief, ten-minute episodes filled with breaking news and entertaining conversations. The show will regularly feature guest appearances from drivers and industry figures, with recurring segments covering social media updates and a weekly sports betting analysis by Erica Renee Davis.

‘Drop the Jack’ provides a unique perspective on the NASCAR world, hosted by Mamba Smith. Airing Thursdays at 3 p.m. ET on YouTube and podcast platforms, beginning September 5, the series will delve into the life of pit crew athletes both on and off the racetrack.

NASCAR’s introduction of these shows comes as Warner Bros. Discovery prepares to take the helm of NASCAR race telecasts next year, building up to their 2025 broadcast rights.

Spake’s return is particularly noteworthy after the cancellation of NASCAR Race Hub this season. She commented in the press release from NASCAR:

“This is going to be so much fun.

“I get to talk about the sport I have been a part of for 20 years in two totally different settings, alongside some of my greatest friends and most respected peers in the industry.

“The fans have been so good to me over the years, and I’m excited to take them further inside the action of the postseason while staying up to speed on some of the fun and entertaining things unfolding away from the track.”
