Randi’s insane urge to appease Hamas after it murdered hostages

US

Earth to Randi Weingarten: Hamas, and only Hamas, is to blame for murdering those six hostages in cold blood — and only Hamas deserves the fury of the civilized world.

Yet Randi, whose day job is running the American Federation of Teachers, couldn’t avoid playing politics with this horror, tweeting: “Our hearts are breaking for the families of the hostages Hamas murdered. At the same time anger must be placed at [Benajmin] Netanyahu’s feet for his refusal to consummate cease fire/hostage release deal.”

Of course, scapegoating Bibi ignores the simple fact that he has agreed to multiple cease-fire proposals: It’s Hamas that’s vetoed every one of them since January.

And the Biden-Harris approach of insisting that Israel must therefore make even more concessions is literally rewarding the terrorists for their new atrocities.

Or does Weingarten really mean to fault Netanyahu for not simply surrendering to the terrorists?

In no world can the killing of hostages be justified or understood; rewarding or even “explaining” them is beyond perverse.

It’s a war crime, just as was taking them in the first place.

Hamas bears all the blame for these killings, and for every death-in-captivity of its hostages.

Indeed, for every innocent life lost (or scarred) last Oct. 7 and in the war since.

Israel is fighting (with all possible restraint) to free the hostages and to eliminate the terror group that 1) broke a cease-fire to carry out those atrocities response and 2) vows to never stop attacking civilians unless and until the Jewish state is no more.

Hamas could’ve ended the war long ago by freeing the hostages and putting down its arms; it might’ve even been able to negotiate a retreat to exile far from Gaza.

Instead, it’s now bragging that it will massacre all hostages if they’re about to be rescued.

Yet Randi and much of the global left responds by blaming Bibi for failing to appease the butchers?

Utter idiot or willfully evil, how do we let Weingarten have anything to do with educating America’s children?
