Second gentleman Doug Emhoff will be in Los Angeles on Thursday.
Emhoff will speak at a campaign reception in the area, though the campaign of Vice President Kamala Harris did not detail where and when the speech will happen.
Emhoff and Harris are residents of Brentwood, and they’re regularly back in L.A., though Harris’ run for president against former President Donald Trump means Emhoff’s visit to L.A. could require additional security measures that will heavily impact traffic and travel.
The degree of that impact, however, won’t be fully known until the time and place of Emhoff’s speech are disclosed by the campaign.
Emhoff’s visit won’t be long; he’s due to speak at another campaign event in Chicago on Friday.
