CHICAGO – A woman has died after being shot while driving Monday evening in Washington Park.
Chicago police said the shooting happened just after 5 p.m. in the 200 block of East 57th Street.
A 35-year-old woman was driving eastbound on 57th Street when she was shot by someone standing near the street, according to investigators.
The woman was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition and later died from her injuries.
No arrests have been made and Area One Detectives are investigating.
