An unknown water issue has left several streets in Encino flooded on Monday morning.

The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power was not able to immediately pinpoint what caused the water issue.

As of 6 a.m. Monday, it was not known how many residents were affected, and a timetable for when repairs would start and finish was not disclosed.

Los Angeles Police Department officers are diverting traffic from the area.
