Man, 63, fatally struck by SUV driver at busy Brooklyn intersection

A 63-year-old man was fatally struck by an SUV driver at a busy Brooklyn intersection, police said Monday.

The victim was standing on Broadway at Myrtle Ave. in Bedford-Stuyvesant when he was hit by the driver of a Chevrolet Suburban about 10:15 a.m. Sunday, cops said.

The driver was heading east on Broadway and had the green light, according to police.

Medics rushed the victim to Woodhull Hospital, where he later died. HIs name was not immediately released.

The 41-year-old man driving the Suburban remained at the scene and faced no immediate charges.
