Offset and Cardi B reunited amid their divorce to celebrate son Wave’s 3rd birthday with an airplane-theme party.
On Saturday, the pregnant “Bodak Yellow” rapper shared videos and pictures from her son’s big day to her Instagram Stories.
In one clip, Wave, who wore a white shirt, jeans, Timberland boots and a customized iced-out chain, danced with the Migos emcee.
Cardi — born Belcalis Almánzar — showed off her son’s five-tier cake, which was covered in fondant-made airplanes, suitcases, a compass and paper airplanes.
The party room was decorated with white and light blue balloons and featured airplanes on the wall that had Wave’s name on them.
There was also a faux flight departure schedule that had the planes leaving from gates Wave 1, 2 and 3.
Adult guests dined on a variety of food prepared by chef Franklin Rosario, which included fresh salad, Brussels sprouts, garlic mashed potatoes, baked mac and cheese, Italian meatballs, lobster mac and cheese, fried chicken wings, BBQ ribs, salmon and lamb chops.
The younger attendees of Wave’s birthday bash ate burgers from Mr. Beast.
Last month, Page Six exclusively reported that Cardi filed for divorce from Offset, born Kiari Cephus.
An insider told us infidelity had nothing to do with why the couple, who secretly tied the knot in 2017, split – though cheating rumors have plagued their marriage for years.
“They’ve grown apart. That’s what drove her to this decision more than anything else,” the source claimed. “This is something she wants to do.”
The day after her divorce filing, the “I Like It” rapper, 31, announced she was pregnant with her and Offset’s third child. The couple share daughter Kulture, 6, and Wave.
The “Walk It Talk It” rapper, 32, is also dad to three other children with three different women.
Though Cardi is seeking primary custody of their kids, she clarified that she is not asking Offset for child support.
“My claim is for him to only pay for the bills he already pays on the kids and the new one,” she wrote on Instagram Aug 3.
