Survey: Majority against book bans, but opinions vary

CHICAGO – As the school year begins, the hot-button issue of banning or restricting some books will certainly be a focus at many school districts across the state.

A new survey found a majority of people are against banning and/or restricting books, but that doesn’t tell the whole story.
