AUSTIN (KXAN) — An unclaimed $1 million Texas Lottery ticket from a March drawing is set to expire soon.
The Texas Lottery said the Mega Millions winning ticket from the March 19 drawing will expire on Sept. 15. The winning ticket had been purchased at the All-Season Food, located at 3411 Antoine Drive in Houston.
Officials said the $1 million ticket matched all five of the white ball numbers: 24-46-49-62-66 but didn’t match the gold Mega Ball number, which was 7.
The winning ticketholder can claim the prize in person at a Texas Lottery claim center before 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 13. The ticket can also be claimed via mail, so long as both the ticket and claim form are postmarked on or prior to Sept. 15 and mailed to:

Mail-in claims will take roughly four weeks to eight weeks to process, per the release. Under Texas Lottery policy, winning ticketholders forfeit their prize if more than 180 days pass following the draw date. Deadlines can be extended under limited circumstances, such as for certain military personnel.
Unclaimed prizes head back to the state to be utilized by programs approved by the Texas Legislature.
“We hope to celebrate the Texas Lottery player who became a $1 million prize winner in the March 19, 2024, Mega Millions drawing, said Ryan Mindell, executive director of the Texas Lottery, in the release. “We encourage our Mega Millions players to take another look at their tickets, check the numbers again, and if your numbers match, sign the back of the ticket before claiming your prize at a Texas Lottery claim center.”
