Disney California Adventure’s Red Car Trolley to end service in early 2025

US

The Red Car Trolley attraction at Disney California Adventure will be discontinued in early 2025 due to an expansion of Avenger Campus.

At this year’s D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, Josh D’Amaro, chairman of Disney Experiences, shared that two new attractions are coming to the Marvel-themed land.

The first ride, Avengers: Infinity Defense, will transport riders to locations across the Marvel Universe, including New York City, the nation of Wakanda and Thor’s home planet of Asgard, as the Avengers battle King Thanos and attempt to foil his plans for universal chaos. The second ride, Stark Flight Lab, will pair riders with Avengers as they test out new superhero equipment.

Due to the anticipated construction, some backstage locations in the area will be impacted, including the backstage Red Car Trolley barn.

“We will discontinue operation of the attraction in early 2025 and will share a specific date later this winter. “Disneyland officials told KTLA.

According to officials, more information about the attraction’s discontinuation will be shared at a later date.
