At least one dead after homicide in downtown Austin, APD says

AUSTIN (KXAN) — At least one person is dead after a homicide Monday morning in the 500 block of E. 6th Street located in downtown Austin, according to the Austin Police Department.

KXAN crews on scene saw crime scene taping blocking off an alley near Neches Street and E. 6th Street.

Austin Police said there will be a media briefing, however they did not provide a time for when that will start.
