Police investigating shooting at Harrison House homeless shelter in Berkeley

BERKELEY, Calif. (KGO) — Police are investigating a shooting inside a shelter for unhoused people in Berkeley.

It happened around 5:30 p.m. Sunday at the shelter on Harrison Street, a couple blocks from the University Village area.

Not much is known yet about what led up to the shooting, just that the victim was shot at least twice.

It’s not clear if police arrested anyone.
