Two killed in shooting in Denver’s Hampden South neighborhood

Two men were killed in a shooting in Denver’s Hampden South neighborhood, the Denver Police Department announced early Sunday morning.

Officers responded to the 4400 block of South Quebec Street to a shooting, Denver police officials said in a post on X at 5:57 a.m. One man was pronounced dead at the scene and a second man took himself to the hospital, where he later died.

Police are still investigating the circumstances of the shooting, and anyone with information can call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.
