3 shot in Chicago's North Lawndale neighborhood

CHICAGO – Three people were injured after being shot in North Lawndale Saturday night.

Chicago police said the shooting happened just after 8 p.m. in the 3600 block of West Douglas Boulevard. The victims were reportedly walking on the sidewalk when shots were fired.

A 22-year-old man was shot in the left leg and taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital in fair condition; a 33-year-old man was shot in the chest and taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital in critical condition; a 17-year-old boy was shot in the groin and taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital in far condition, according to investigators.

No arrests have been made and Area Four Detectives are investigating.
