APD said the incident occurred March 20 at approximately 6:30 p.m. near the intersection of West Slaughter Lane and Riddle Road.

Police said a 7-year-old child was riding her bicycle with an adult at the time of the crash.

According to police, the driver of the suspect vehicle was described as a Black woman with short hair in her mid-40s. The vehicle was described as a black 2019 Jeep Compass Latitude 4X2.

“A reward of up to $1,000 may be available for any information that leads to an arrest,” APD said.
