When I-81 was constructed in the 1960s, it split through one of the nation’s first public housing communities and separates it from more affluent neighborhoods in Syracuse, New York, to this day. But that stretch of road is set to be demolished, reconnecting the community to other parts of the city. Scott MacFarlane has the story.
