An armed woman was shot and injured by Larimer County sheriff’s deputies Tuesday after a high-speed chase through Loveland, sheriff’s officials said.

Just after 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, a Larimer County sheriff’s deputy attempted to pull over a car whose registered owner — an adult woman — had a warrant out for her arrest and a revoked license, according to a new release from the sheriff’s office.

The driver refused to pull over and led deputies on a chase through west Loveland, according to the sheriff’s office.
