A 33-year-old man was discovered fatally wounded Monday night after officers responded to ShotSpotter technology on the West Side in the Garfield Park neighborhood, Chicago police said.

Shortly before 10:30 p.m., officers discovered a 33-year-old man lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds to the face and arms. He was taken by ambulance to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The victim was identified as Robert Little of the 4000 block of West Lexington Street, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

No one was in custody for the fatal shooting, and detectives were investigating.
